Working from home is the new normal for 2021. Whether you’re in a big home or a small studio apartment, you can now understand the best Feng Shui for yourself without disrupting your boss or employees!
Since you are working from home and are at liberty to move around, using different rooms/areas for specific goals work wonderfully. For example, register your new company from the southwest, make calls and email potential investors from the south, and practice your sales pitch in the northwest. All you need is your phone and laptop – move around and tap into the QI flow of 2021.

SOUTHEAST AND NORTH ARE NOT SUITED FOR WORK IN THE YEAR 2021.
To begin, you will need to subdivide your home into 9 equal sectors. Below is an easy and systematic method.
- STEP-1: Square off the layout plan. Make a cross and find the centre point.
- STEP-2: Use your phone compass to find one direction from the centre of the house.
- STEP-3: Make a grid with 9 sectors and fill in the directions based on your compass reading.
Two separate charts have been created for reference, one for self-employed and the other for salaried individuals. Select the sector that relates to your job profile.
SALARIED
- If you are working in the profit stream of your company, making investments or trading, the best space to use is the NORTHEAST sector of your home. The annual purple star #9 resides there, promising celebratory outcomes.
- Those in technical and support roles should set up their office in the CENTRE of their property. Usually, in Feng Shui, we do not use the central palace (area) but this year, star #6, is good for execution and resides there. Therefore, we can make an exception.
- The traditional and beloved wealth star #8 is in the WEST, making it a perfect location for sales-related activities.
- If you are job hunting, then sending your resume from the SOUTH might prove useful. Star #1 in the South is great for networking and finding mentors.
- Lawyers and other law enforcement agents should opt to use the SOUTHWEST of their home, as the energies of star #3 are well suited for individuals in this field.
- Those in Human Resources and training roles will benefit from using star #4 in the EAST. This is the traditional peach blossom and academic star of the year.
- If you need to practice your sales pitch or simply improve your presentation skills, the NORTHWEST area is your best bet.

- Looking for investors or business partners? Start networking from the SOUTH of your home.
- Are you in need of research and planning for your latest project? The energies in the EAST would be conducive for this.
- Still a bit apprehensive about starting a new venture? The SOUTHWEST area is the most suited to give you the courage you need, to register your company and begin. Star #3 is well suited for athletes to use as well.
- Are you a MC/RJ/Talk Show Host, Event Planner or a Public Relations person? Using the NORTHWEST will sharpen your communication skills.
- Those looking to start an additional business for a side income, are encouraged to use the WEST sector.
- From serious investors to novice stock traders, using the NORTHEAST could help your endeavours. With popularity star #9 here, it is an excellent space for Influencers, Branding and Marketing activities.
