Makhanas are so good when roasted with some oil and salt. But you have to elevate your makhana game by making bhel with this super easy recipe!

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups – Makhana
- 1 Tsp – Oil
- ¼ Cup – Onion (chopped)
- ¼ Cup – Tomato (chopped)
- ¼ Cup – Cucumber (chopped)
- ¼ Cup – Pomegranate kernels
- 1 tbsp – Cilantro-Chilli Chutney
- 1 tbsp – Date-tamarind chutney
- ½ Cup – Roasted peanuts
- ½ Tsp – Chaat masala
- Lime juice – ¼ Cup – Sev
Instructions:
Step I:
In a pan, roast makhana with Oil and a sprinkle of salt on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
Step II:
In a bowl, add chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped cucumber, pomegranate kernels, roasted peanuts, cilantro-chilli chutney, date-tamarind chutney, chaat masala, lime juice, and sev. Mix well so that all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Step III:
Top with more sev, cilantro and pomegranate kernels and enjoy! Make sure you make it fresh and enjoy it immediately, else the makhanas will get soggy!
