Tandoori Prawn Salad

THE PERFECT APPETIZER FOR YOUR DINNER PARTIES, ENJOY THE ‘DESI’ TWIST TO THIS PRAWN SALAD.

MARINADE FOR PRAWNS

  • Greek yoghurt 4 tbs
  • Olive Oil or melted butter 2 tbs
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbs
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbs
  • Tandoori seasoning 1 tbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Juice of half a lemon

SALAD DRESSING

  • Greek yoghurt
  • Crushed garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

SALAD BASE

  • Organic wild rocket
  • Avocado
  • Green peppers
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Spring onions
  • Red onions
  • (Add any ingredient you enjoy in a salad)

Mix together and marinate the prawns at least three hours, preferably overnight.

Cook the prawns in melted butter in a hot frying pan after shaking off the excess marinade.

Arrange the cooked prawns over the salad base and drizzle with the dressing and garnish with the chopped spring onions.
