THE PERFECT APPETIZER FOR YOUR DINNER PARTIES, ENJOY THE ‘DESI’ TWIST TO THIS PRAWN SALAD.
MARINADE FOR PRAWNS
- Greek yoghurt 4 tbs
- Olive Oil or melted butter 2 tbs
- Chopped garlic 1 tbs
- Chopped ginger 1 tbs
- Tandoori seasoning 1 tbs
- 1 tsp salt
- Juice of half a lemon
SALAD DRESSING
- Greek yoghurt
- Crushed garlic
- Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
SALAD BASE
- Organic wild rocket
- Avocado
- Green peppers
- Cherry tomatoes
- Spring onions
- Red onions
- (Add any ingredient you enjoy in a salad)
Mix together and marinate the prawns at least three hours, preferably overnight.
Cook the prawns in melted butter in a hot frying pan after shaking off the excess marinade.
Arrange the cooked prawns over the salad base and drizzle with the dressing and garnish with the chopped spring onions.
