Almond-Tumeric Laddoos

We live in uncertain times with new diseases emerging every other day, making our already stressful lives even harder. It is natural to worry about our health and that of our loved ones. However, worrying and stressing only impairs one’s immunity. Easier said than done, but veering away from negativity and consciously bringing yourself back to a state of awareness when your mind drifts, helps.

Additionally, consuming mmunity-boosting ingredients also put you on a path towards wellness. Just because it is healthy, does not mean it needs to be boring!

Check out the new Laddoos on the block made from Almond and Tumeric. They form easily, keep well at room temperature for over a week, and make for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

Here is an easy recipe for you to try:

Ingradients:

  • 1 cup Almond Meal
  • ¾ cup Fox Nuts or Makhana, roasted in Ghee
  • ½ cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Tumeric
  • 1 tsp Ginger Powder
  • ¾ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1.5 cups or as per taste of Jaggery (powdered or finely chopped) – this can also be substituted with Honey
  • 2 tbsp Pure Ghee or Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil

 

Instructions:

  1. Blend almonds, fox nuts and pumpkin seeds one at a time in a high speed blender
  2. Next, mix all the powdered ingredients with the remainder ingredients and blend for 10-15 seconds again
  3. Empty the contents into a bowl, grease your palms with ghee and make laddoos of a desired size
  4. Place in an air-tight container at room temperature and consume within a week

Serving Size: Makes 12-15 medium sized laddoos
