It was a Friday evening and we were craving for some versatile food. Therefore, we booked a table at Spice. This was my husband’s second visit, but my first visit and I was initially skeptical of the flavors since they had various kinds of cuisines including Thai and Malay Cuisine. Located at 1 Knutsford Terrace – Spice is in the midst of the most happening place in TST. A Smiling receptionist greeted us when we entered the softly lit restaurant. The decor emblazoned with various pieces of art on walls and beautiful vibrant candles on every table made the restaurant look very sophisticated.
It is easy to locate and right in the midst of the chaos there is a place to relax and have a great dinner with your family. We found the vibe at the restaurant very pleasant.
The Ambience was authentic and intimate. They had given prominence to comfort with comfortable sofa seating. It made us feel pleasant and relaxed.
Drinks: For Drinks I ordered sweet lime juice that was refreshing and my husband ordered a vanilla virgin mojito that was nice but a little on the sweeter side. The menu comprised of lots of interesting drinks including mock tails and cocktails.
Food: For the starters we tried their Thai platter that consisted of Crab cake, fish cake, veg spring roll & chicken wrapped in pandan leaves.
The shrimp cake and spring roll were good to start with perfect authentic taste and crunchiness.
We were slightly unsatisfied with the chicken wrapped in leaves thatshould have been made crunchier and better. The
expectations were still high and we wanted to go for the Indian cuisine. The Main course we ordered consisted of Rogan Josh, Dal, Butter Chicken, and ChickenMalaiTikka with Butter Naan.
A perfect option for a rainy day. The Chicken MalaiTikka exceeded all our expectations since it had the look; the freshness;, the taste, and juiciness. They served it perfectly with Mint sauce and we instantly felt gratified. The Impact was such that I even while writing now and imagining; that the taste still lingers in my mouth.
The presentation of the dishes served by the friendly and courteous staff made our dining experience very special.

Desserts: They served us their homemade kesar kulfi with strawberries.
A complete delight to watch and dig in. This dish was a sweet lover’s dream come true. The temperature and sweetness was perfect. The delicious strawberries made it even more enticing.
Price: Their prices were reasonable and affordable.
Staff: The staff is very attentive, courteous and well aware of the menu. The manager Mr. Neel was around to monitor and take care of everything with his smiling attitude. He even took initiative in helping us to order by recommending their specialties based on our preferences. Highly recommended by us.
