RECIPE OF PALAK CORN

Palak Corn is a healthy and tasty Indian curry made from Spinach and sweet corn. A curry rich in Vitamin B is the healthiest and yummiest.

INGREDIENTS
1. 1 Cup Boiled Sweet Corns
2. 250gms Spinach
3. 2 Onions
4. 3 Large Tomatoes
5. Few Garlic Cloves
6. Small piece of Ginger
7. 1-2 Green Chilies
8. 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
9. 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
10. 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
11. ½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
12. Salt to taste
13. 1 Tablespoon Ghee
14. A pinch of Hing

METHOD
1. Wash Spinach Leaves properly and boil them in water. Put Spinach in cold water so that its color is not lost. Make a smooth puree in a blender.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and add 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds and a pinch of hing.
3. Add finely chopped onions and Sauté the onions for a minute till they turn golden brown in color.
4. Make a puree of tomatoes, green chilies and ginger-garlic. Fry them along onions for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add spicy like Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala and Salt. Mix everything well and cook the gravy for 2 minutes till it starts to leave oil on the sides.
6. Add the Spinach puree to the onion tomato gravy and cook for few minutes.
7. Add little Water to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
8. Now add boiled sweet corn to the gravy and mix well. Then cover and cook for 2 minutes under closed lid.
9. Palak Corn is ready.

Tip: Adding corns give the curry a sweet and crunchy flavor. The dish is high on nutrition quotient and rich in taste.
